Fellow Sportsmen,

Welcome to NCHuntnFish, our state's newest online community for avid outdoorsmen of all types. From Murphy to Manteo, North Carolina abounds with a rich diversity of wildlife species and an equally talented and eclectic group of sportsmen. Whether your interests lie in fresh or saltwater fishing, archery, hunting for small and big game species, training of sporting dogs, trapping, camping, etc., our desire is to provide each of you with a healthy and meaningful venue for discussion of your various topics of interest. This is where the trout fly fisherman in the Western part of NC can meet and make acquaintance with the Tundra Swan hunter from down East to jaw about everything from gear to tactics to the best way to cook whatever it is that you pursue. We encourage you all to share your ideas, tips, photographs, and experiences in the pages of our forums and gallery. In the process, you might even slip up and learn a little something, teach a little something-or better yet, make a friend! If so, then we have achieved our goal.

Announcements

Welcome Spring!
  • After seeing more than our usual share of snow this winter, spring has finally sprung in the Old North State. Sportsmen now have exciting new seasons to look forward to. The turkey's early morning gobbles herald the beginning of spring gobbler season, and crappie fishing in area lakes will soon heat up with many stringers filling up with "slabs". Spring is a wonderful time here in NC... Here's hoping y'all make the most of it!
Looking forward...
  • As all NC sportsmen know, we are blessed with nature's bounty here in the Tarheel State. There are more hunting and fishing opportunities here than there are in many other states in the USA. We have much to be proud of.

Please remember that even though there is an abundance of resources here in NC, we must not take anything for granted. In these current political and economic times, we must remain vigilant and stand together to safeguard the rights given us by our Constitution. Please remember to be active and support the sporting organization of your choice. Let your voice be heard!
Thanks NCBigShot for the announcements!
