Welcome to NCHuntnFish, our state's newest online community for avid outdoorsmen of all types. From Murphy to Manteo, North Carolina abounds with a rich diversity of wildlife species and an equally talented and eclectic group of sportsmen. Whether your interests lie in fresh or saltwater fishing, archery, hunting for small and big game species, training of sporting dogs, trapping, camping, etc., our desire is to provide each of you with a healthy and meaningful venue for discussion of your various topics of interest. This is where the trout fly fisherman in the Western part of NC can meet and make acquaintance with the Tundra Swan hunter from down East to jaw about everything from gear to tactics to the best way to cook whatever it is that you pursue. We encourage you all to share your ideas, tips, photographs, and experiences in the pages of our forums and gallery. In the process, you might even slip up and learn a little something, teach a little something-or better yet, make a friend! If so, then we have achieved our goal.

Big Birds & Big Bass Coming Soon!

Sooner than we realize, the Carolina dogwoods will be abloom. That means two things—Spring Gobblers and water Hawgs. Now is the time to pattern that smokepole, ready your decoys, sand the slates, and chalk the box calls. Brush-up practice on the calling probably won’t hurt either. As for the biggun’s in the water, reline and oil the reels and ready the boat. Sharpen those hooks because, as the old saying goes, “When the dogwood blooms, the big bass bite.” Until then, good luck to all you late season upland bird and rabbit hunters. Varmint hunters and trappers keep on truckin'.
